PLA Beauty, Inc. (“PLA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates PLA Central, an internal business platform used by authorized PLA team members to manage company operations, customer communications, and connected business services.

This Privacy Policy explains how PLA Central accesses, uses, stores, and protects information received through Meta platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.

1. Information We Access

When an authorized administrator connects a Facebook Page or Instagram professional account to PLA Central, we may access information permitted by Meta and authorized by the account administrator, including:

• Facebook Page information and identifiers

• Instagram professional account information and identifiers

• Page and account profile information

• Customer messages and conversations sent to connected Facebook Pages or Instagram accounts

• Message sender names, usernames, or platform identifiers

• Message timestamps and message content

• Page and Instagram engagement information

• Public comments and related engagement information where enabled

• Information necessary to identify and manage connected business assets

• Content and media information required for authorized social publishing features

PLA Central does not request access to personal Facebook information unrelated to PLA's business accounts or authorized business functions.

2. How We Use Meta Platform Data

Meta Platform Data is used only for legitimate PLA business operations, including:

• Displaying Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct conversations in a centralized company inbox

• Allowing authorized PLA employees to review and respond to customer messages

• Assigning or escalating customer conversations to appropriate PLA team members

• Managing connected Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts

• Monitoring customer communication activity

• Supporting customer service and internal business workflows

• Publishing authorized social media content when social publishing features are enabled

• Troubleshooting, security monitoring, and maintaining connected account integrations

PLA Central is primarily an internal business system for PLA Beauty, Inc. Access is restricted to authorized users.

3. How We Store Information

Information received through Meta may be stored within PLA Central and its authorized cloud infrastructure where necessary to provide the features described above.

Access tokens and similar authentication credentials are stored securely and are protected using encryption and access controls.

We limit access to Meta Platform Data to authorized personnel who require access for legitimate business purposes.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell Meta Platform Data.

We do not provide Meta Platform Data to data brokers, advertising networks, or unrelated third parties.

Information may be processed by service providers that support the operation, hosting, security, or maintenance of PLA Central. These providers are permitted to process information only as necessary to provide services to PLA and are subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, or integrity of PLA, our users, or others.

5. Data Retention

We retain Meta Platform Data only for as long as reasonably necessary to support customer communications, internal business operations, security, legal requirements, and recordkeeping.

Data that is no longer required may be deleted, anonymized, or otherwise removed in accordance with our internal retention practices and applicable requirements.

Connected account credentials may be removed when an integration is disconnected or authorization is revoked.

6. Data Deletion Requests

Individuals may request deletion of information associated with their interactions with PLA through Facebook or Instagram.

Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant account or conversation, such as your name, Facebook or Instagram username, and the nature of your request.

After receiving a valid request, we will review and delete applicable information where required and reasonably possible, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping obligations.

Users may also remove or revoke permissions granted to PLA Central through their applicable Facebook or Instagram settings.

7. Security

PLA uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through PLA Central.

These safeguards may include:

• Authentication and role-based access controls

• Restricted access to administrative functions

• Encryption of access credentials and sensitive authentication data

• Logging and monitoring of system activity

• Secure hosting and infrastructure controls

No information system can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect information from unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

8. Children's Privacy

PLA Central is a business operations platform and is not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly use PLA Central to collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when PLA Central features, Meta integrations, legal requirements, or our data practices change.

The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
